satellite luminaire
Control unit

14)额定工作时间rated duration of operation
1 Scope
The national standard prescribed the using safety requirements of luminaires for emergency lighting, like filament lamp, tubular fluorescent lamp and miscellaneous gas discharge lamp. Their emergency power supply voltage is no more than 1, 000 V. When you read the national standard, please refer to related chapters of GB 7000. 1.
The national standard is exclusive of explosion protection emergency lighting luminaire [see GB 3836.1-83(neq IEC 79)], it is also exclusive of influence on luminaire with high voltage gas discharge lamp when the non- emergency voltage drops.
Note: in non- emergency period, some emergency lighting luminaires are able to work under normal supply voltage.
2 General Test Requirements
It is applied Chapter X of GB 7000.1-1996 (idt IEC 598-1; 1992), and various tests in corresponding chapters of GB 7000. 1 are carried out according to the national standard listed order.
When the emergency luminaires are combined according to required tests of the national standard, it is only restricted to the components using for the emergency lighting. The part of luminaire only using for normal lighting should conform to corresponding all classes of luminaires standard requirement (for example, if the luminaire is embedded type, it should be tested according to requirements of embedded type luminaire standard).
If certain components of self-contained emergency luminaire approached to main components of luminaire (in 1m), all components of the luminaire and interior connection method should satisfy related requirements of the national standard.
3 Definition
The national standard adopted definition of GB 2313(idt IEC 920:1990),GB 7000. 1 and GB 10682 (idt IEC 81:1984), it also adopted definition in IEC 924 and IEC 925; in addition, the following definitions are adopted.
1) Emergency lighting
It indicates the used lighting at the time of normal lighting malfunction, including escape lighting and standby lighting.
2) Escape lighting
It is a kind of emergency lighting; this type lighting is used for ensuring the escape sign being able to be identified and to use safely in normal lighting or required emergency lighting.
3) Standby lighting
It is a kind of emergency lighting, this type of lighting is able to keep on or safely terminate normal action.
4) Maintained emergency luminaire
